Alder King sells Avonmouth unit to metal firm

Alder King has sold Unit 3 of Access 18, Avonmouth to aluminium and stainless steel distributors and stockholders Richard Austin Alloys.
The sale was made on behalf of developers St Modwen in a £2.4 million deal, Property Mall reports.
Access 18 covers 55 acres and is situated two miles north of junction 18 of the M5.
Gary Higgins, regional director of Richard Austin Alloys, told the news provider: "This is the fifth building in our national distribution network.
"We chose Access 18 as it is ideally located to serve our customers in the south-west and south Wales."
The 28,400 square feet building is part of the second phase of the development, which comprises three buildings totaling 80,000 sq ft.
Alder King began in 1911 and now employs more than 180 people at seven regional offices.
In the past ten years its turnover has grown from £3 million to £12 million.
